APPOINTMENTS DURING COVID-19

COVID-19 - WHAT THIS MEANS FOR OUR PATIENTS

All of us at the office of Dr. Edward Zebovitz are committed to doing our part to keep our patients, our associates, and our community healthy and safe during COVID-19. We know there are many individuals who have been putting off care in order to comply with the Stay At Home order, and we thank you for doing your part. But we know that things happen and pain persists, even in a pandemic, and it is as important as ever to take care of ourselves.

Here are some important things for you to know as we move into this new phase and begin seeing more patients in the office.

IMPORTANT! Please contact your provider’s office to reschedule your appointment if you have experienced flu-like symptoms, or if you have been exposed to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 virus, within the past 14 days.

YOUR APPOINTMENTS

We remain open to serve new and existing patients for in-person appointments.

Safety is our number ONE priority. Following state and federal guidelines, we have put into place new safety and screening measures to protect the health of our patients and associates. Here are some of the measures we are taking to keep patients and staff safe.

  • All Team members are taking their temperature upon entering the office and when they leave the office.

  • All Team members  wear mandatory face masks at all time.

For your in-office visit:

  • We will call you the day before your appointment to ask some CDC guided questions. Click here to review form.

  • The day of your appointment, we ask that you call the office from the parking lot so that we may ensure that the lobby is empty and has been sanitized.

  • When you come in to the office, we ask that you are wearing a mask. (If you don’t have a mask, please let us know, from your car, that you don’t have one, and we will be happy to bring one to your car before entering our office.)

  • There is hand sanitizer on a table, just inside our office door. We ask that you use this upon entering the office.

  • Once in the office, we will ask you to do another Patient Screening as well as take your temperature.

Telemedicine is also an option for care. Dr. Zebovitz also offers telemedicine. This option allows patients who don’t need to be physically present to schedule virtual visits with him. However, not all  appointments are appropriate for telemedicine. Please contact our office to see if this option is available.
